Market sizing.
Count the customers, price what each one spends in a year, then cut it down to the part you can reach and the share you could win. It's the bottom-up method we use on client work, with a source next to every number.
You get A TAM, SAM and SOM with every assumption written down, a top-down check, and the assumptions that move the answer most.

Describe the market in a sentence. Claude, Anthropic's AI model, searches the web for figures and fills in the model below, with a source for each number. You can change anything after.

Check every number
Each segment is a group of customers who spend differently. Type numbers the way you'd say them: 4 lakh, 2.5 crore, 1.2M or 12,000. The range is how sure you are of each one.

The tool follows the method we use on client work. When the answer matters, we do the research ourselves, with buyer counts, real prices and conversations with buyers.
- 01
Start from buyers
Count the companies or people who could buy, from census data, registries and company filings. Industry reports come last, as a check.
- 02
Price what they spend
Use real prices and how often people buy, from price lists, filings and conversations with buyers.
- 03
Cut to what you can reach
Take out the buyers your product, sales team and channels can't serve today. What's left is the market you can serve.
- 04
Check it from the top
Compare with total spend on the category. If the two answers are more than a quarter apart, something is missing or counted twice.
